Assignment

  • “FreeStyle Friday” start creating a magazine cover for your magazine using photoshop. Your freestyle fridays will be adding pages to your magazine incorporating what you have learn in the week’s lesson.  Use your “year-long magazine ” handout for instructions and hints.
  • SEE BELOWInDesign ————Year-long Magazine Project1. Step 1:   Create a plan for your magazine (ex: Magazine Name/title, what categories you will cover, etc.).2. Step 2: Next you will start to create a magazine cover using Photoshop. This will be your freestyle Friday until your cover is completed.

    3. Step 3: Your “Freestyle Fridays” will be adding pages to your magazine incorporating what you have learn in the week’s lesson. Page 2 will be your Editor’s Page (a little information about you and picture of yourself) wrap your text around the image—just be creative….

    4. Step 4: Page 3 will be a table of contents: You will continue to add to this page every time you add a category/story/feature.

5.  Some Freestyle Fridays you will be adding an ad page to your magazine

Helpful Hints: Review a magazine for details of: Editorial pages, table of contents, magazine layouts, etc.
